Subject: A Somaliland Prisoner Name( Sheikh Mohamed Sheikh  Ismail )

Sheikh Mohamed was taken to civilian prison of Hargeisa the capital ofSomaliland( former British Somaliland) by presidential security personnel from his house last year july 2005 where he is held up to now with out trial,the prisoner was tortured, beated and phisically ill-treated.

The defense lawyer of the victum have received threats and abuses from members of the secret sevice of the regime.

The President of Somaliland has not taken any action against his security forces and other authorities responsible for the unlawful detention
of the innocent prisoner of Sheikh Mohamed Sheikh Ismail.

Mr. Secretary General, i feel sure the President of Somaliland and his security forces committed crime and crime against humanity against
the prisoner of Sheikh Mohamed Sheikh Ismail.

As a Somaliland citizen i am sending to you as a Secretary General of Amnesty
International my appeal on behalf of prisoner Sheikh Mohamed Sheikh Ismail
to intervene this horrible current situation, and i hope my appeal will be highly appreciated.
